I have had the opportunity to write in various industries  as a freelancer and full-time copywriter.

 

This has allowed me to try on different hats in terms of content and to experiment with finding voices that mirror each individual company or brand.

New Age Natural: Website Refresh

I collaborated with Cameron Rennacker (the art director at Globaltek) on the copy and web design for this website refresh.


Our main goals were to make the site more customer/user-friendly and to optimize the copy and design for both mobile and desktop with the hope that this will lead to higher sales conversions.

Venture Scaler: Blog Projects

I contract with a company that conducts interviews as part of their work as consultants for inclusion and diversity in the workplace. 


My role is to take the audio, video, & interview transcripts from employee interviews and turn those materials into a condensed blog highlighting the company's core values. 

Zach Ferres: Entrepreneur Article

I was the copyeditor for this article "5 Strategies from Ancient Chinese Warfare to Help Us Thrive in Changing Times", which appeared in Entrepreneur's online magazine. 

I worked with Zach to structure the article and to rework certain sections for clarity and better flow of the article overall.

Salus Medical: Blog & Monthly Newsletter

I write a monthly blog and newsletter for Salus Medical, a medical supply distribution company based out of Phoenix, AZ.


Each month we focus on a different aspect of the healthcare industry and create content according to our chosen theme.

D'Isolana Skincare: Branding & Website Copy

I worked with owner & creator Jen Esposito to develop her D'Isolana Skincare brand positioning and brand story.


I also helped develop the copy for her website, marketing materials, and product/packaging copy.

Hashtag Noah Blog

I collaborated with Noah on non-video related blog content. 

I also video summaries/blurbs for both the Tour de Tech and Martini Shot video series that appear on Hashtag Noah's website (also watchable on Youtube here).

BOLT: Branding & Brand Story

I collaborated with Cameron Rennacker (the art director of Globaltek) to develop the bold branding & brand story.


This is one example of enhanced brand content we created for the BOLT brand.  We incorporated this template across the brand and recreated each section for 10-plus skus.

Brand Promise

This is the promise we created to lay the foundation for the brand as a whole and to set the tone moving forward for the website as well as when we developed new products.

Product Benefits

We created a unique set of benefits for each product and presented that information in a way that is easily understood by the consumer but also in a way that could be repurposed across many platforms
(digital & print).

Vaccinating

Roll Up Those Sleeves

CDC Creates #Sleevesup and #Fightflu Social Media Campaign


The CDC is taking to social media to create engagement about the importance of flu vaccines. Their social media toolkit includes sample captions, photo suggestions (images of rolled-up sleeves and bandages), free graphics available for immediate download, appropriate hashtags, and custom frames to use when posting on various social media accounts.


The hope is that spreading awareness will encourage more people to get flu vaccines this year. The goal? To help minimize the impact of the flu on medical systems focused on COVID-19.
